"Violent Media is Good for Kids"

Jones helps his son overcome his fear by reading him old Tarzan comics, he taught his son that it is okay to take risks every now and then. Jones includes and addresses counterarguments in his essay when he says, "I'm not going to argue that violent entertainment is harmless. I think it has helped inspire some people to real-life violence. I am going to argue that it's hundreds of people for every one it's hurt, and that it can help far more if we learn to use it well. I am going to argue that out fear of "youth violence" isn't well founded on reality, and that the fear can do more harm than the reality (para 14)." Jones writes about the need especilly in childhood for a fantasy self, I agree that super hero stories helps kids think about their inner self and public self as they are growing up.
